Some new songs for download!

Sorry for late update (got full time work), but here it is anyway! Here are some songs from the new Taiko no Tatsujin DX. I can't use my recorder anymore so I'll need assistance in getting good quality ogg files. T^T

Oh well, nonetheless; here they are;

Which by the way... brings the total authentic Oni maps distributed here to 228 :D

Some new songs :P

Finally after a while of hiatus (juggling between full time work), I have time to update with some songs for Taikojiro. One of them is the first song released for a certain popular anime way back in Waku Waku Anime Matsuri. Pretty sure you know what it is (if you play Taiko long enough). I just remapped it and added Go-go time to tune it with the current Taiko interface. Isn't it nice to play old songs using the new Taiko interface? :3

Some Taiko no Tatsujin DX stuff and speculation

Hi everyone! As the title says you may have most likely heard (or not) about Taiko no Tatsujin DX! Skipping introductions about the game, here are the confirmed songs included in Taiko DX!

Yoku Asobi Yoku Manabe [よく遊びよく学べ]
Heavy Rotation [ヘビーローテーション]
Arigatou [ありがとう]
I Wish For You
Tentai Kansoku [天体観測]
Kurenai [紅]

One day (One Piece)
No buts! (Toaru Majutsu no Index II)

Shounetsu Tairiku [情熱大陸]

SMOKY THRILL (Idolmaster 2)----> Ponta And Lawson preorder bonus song
Monster Hunter Medley [モンスターハンターメドレー]
The world is all one!! (Idolmaster 2)
Kirame Kirari [キラメキラリ]

Pavane for a Dead Princess [亡き王女のためのパヴァーヌ ~きみのこどう~]
Violin Concerto in Re Minor [バイオリン協奏曲ホ短調]
Kare Kano Kanon [カレ・カノ・カノン]
Radetsky March [ラデツキー行進曲]
Calvary Light Overture [「軽騎兵」序曲から]
Beethoven's 9th Symphony[第九交響曲]
Eine Kleine Nachtmusik [アイネクライネナハトムジーク]
Etude Op.10-4 [練習曲Op.10-4]

-Namco Original-
DokoDON MatsuRhythm [ドコDON☆まつリズム]
Black Rose Apostle
Taiyou mo Yapapa [太陽もヤッパッパー]
Ra Moreena Kumonai [ラ・モレーナ・クモナイ]
Akuugan Yuuei ac12.5(亜空間遊泳ac12.5]
Sengoku Sangen(戦国三弦)
White Rose Insanity
Kaze no Fantasy [風のファンタジー] ----> HORI bonus song with memory stick

And here are some songs which I predict will be in ^^ But please remember that this is just a prediction and not to be taken seriously

-Namco Original-
Gekkabijin [月下美人] - Taiko Portable 2 had Shin Garyoutensei in it and Taiko DX has Sengoku Sangen, and Gekkabijin fits between those two songs. It's a great song and it was revived in Taiko 14 and Wii 3, so why not put it in DX?
Shimedore2000 [〆ドレー2000] - The combo balloon in DX can fit 1000 combo, so this is a befitting song to be in DX since it has yet to be included in any console version
Angel Dream [エンジェルドリーム] - The second and third song for the Angel Dream series is
in, so why not put in the first one as well?
Kikyoku series songs - Kikyoku ~seasons of Asia~ debuted in Taiko PSP2, so the rest of the songs from this series has the potential to be included in Taiko DX with Ura maps!
no mai series songs - This song series is immensely popular and it would be blasphemy (just kidding) not to introduce it to DX which consists of popular songs
Hataraku2000 [はたラク2000], Tenjiku2000 [てんじく2000], EkiBEN2000, Kidaruma2000 [黄ダルマ2000], Kita Saitama200 [きたさいたま200] - These songs have yet to be introduced to the Sony console system and appears in Shimedore2000. It would be fitting to put all these songs in since Shimedore2000 has them
Joubutsu Nisen [万戈イム一一ノ十] - The last 2000 series song *sob*, so why not put in in DX as a token to remind us how hard we worked to pass all those songs?

KARMA (Tatsujin Mix) - There's Tekken 6 for PSP, so why not put its theme song for Taiko DX?

Caramelldansen ウッーウッーウマウマ(゜∀゜)- It's addictive and hugely popular and has yet to see a console release

And many more which have the potential to be here, just couldn't list it down...

Share your thoughts! What song would make it into DX?

12000 views + a small, but really nice update

The picture above says it all, muahahahahahaha!

Since I could not find the combo balloon to fit 1000 combo (or rather, no one did it), so I thought why not do it myself? :P Ahem, to commenmorate 12k views, I present you a small, but really nice update for Taikojiro - a 1000+ combo balloon made by yours truly. Things don't look so messy now, hmm? ^^ The only thing we're missing is the 1000+ combo SFX... which I have yet to find.

Download Taikojiro 5.0 player below (and don't forget to PASTE your old "simfiles" folder from your previous Taikojiro folder into this one)

Enjoy the new player~

Taikojiro 4.5 and a very late thank you for over 11k views~

Hello and a very good day to you all! Firstly, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates (it's been really quiet lately and I was busy) and secondly, it's a late but I would like to thank you for over 11000 views! Wow, that's a lot of views for a single blog! ^^;; Knowing that makes me very happy! *sheds manly tears*

So, in order to commenmorate this, I shall present a tiny update to Taikojiro; the notes now have moving faces - just like their arcade counterpart! Now you won't see them stagnant and stationary, they actually move now! X3 However, this has resulted in bigger notes, so you will need to adjust your eye placement... a little. And also, Taikojiro is tuned to be less laggy now during gameplay.

Secondly, I also included various dancers for your enjoyment. Currently, the one you download from here is set to Chinese Lion (nice, but long load time). You can change it to any of the dancers I provided (they are tuned individually) by following these simple steps

Step 1: Click on that file to open your choice of dancers.

Step 2: Here are the dancers I provided (there's 3 of them). Click on them to open

Step 3: Copy these two files and paste them in your img folder whenever you want a change in dancers

Copy your old simfiles folder and paste them into this new player to enjoy! Regrettably, there's no combo balloon and voice for 1000 combo and above for Taikojiro... yet. I have not found them ><;;;

2 new songs for Taikojiro!

I'm sure everyone has (or not) heard about Shimedore2000! For those who haven't, it was unlocked yesterday in the arcades via Taiko 14's final code! Shimedore2000 has 1414 notes and is a medley of 14 2000 series song. It is the first song to break the 999 combo limit and as expected from a 2000 series song, it's difficult. It pits all the most memorable and hardest note distributions in the previous 2000 series song into one big mashup. Doesn't this remind of Taberuna2000a bit? XD Anyway, with the unlocking of Shimedore2000 in the arcade, in a way, it has been "unlocked" here as well! Enjoy! (But please don't mind the messy 1000 over combo indication, I'm trying to fix it X(

Today's new song update;

Kokoro no Chizu

More new authentic Oni songs and also custom songs!

Hi there! To commenmorate (I know, it's kind of early but what the hell! XD) 7777 views, I have chose to share some new songs! Take it as though you're "unlocking" some songs in the arcade, no? XD One of them is a 10 star song that's just recently unlocked in the Taiko no Tatsujin 14 arcade!

Here we go~

~Authentic Oni songs~
Jungle P (One Piece)

Overture IX (Dragon Quest IX)

-Namco Original-
Kimi no Akari (Normal + Ura)

Taiko Time (Normal + Ura)

And here are Ura map updates to these custom mapped songs! :3 only my railgun features an SP mapped version! Well, I don't think I have better names for that difficulty so I guess "SP" sort of means "special". Seasoned Taiko players will instantly recognize the note arrangements in that song! Can you full combo the SP version of only my railgun? >:3

only my railgun (To Aru Kagaku no Railgun) -Comes with 2 folders updated quality of mp3 from previous version, copy both into your simfiles folder

Never Give Up! (Digimon Xros Wars)

Enjoy the songs!

Taiko no Tatsujin x Music Gun! Gun!

Good day! As you may/or may not know, the ever-popular Namco Original song, Saitama2000 is featured in Taito's Music Gun! Gun! 2. By the looks of the video, it seems that the notes in Music Gun! Gun! follows the notes in the Taiko version very closely!

Don't you just love Saitama2000? ^^

SORA-IV Bunpasong released!

After a while, here's an update to the official authentic Oni song maps for Taikojiro!

Let's welcome the latest addition to the SORA series, SORA-IV Bunpasong!

SORA-IV Bunpasong

This also marks the 101th Namco Original song I distributed here! Did you get them all? XD

More new custom O2Jam songs!

Seems that I'm on a roll for mapping O2Jam songs lately! XD I miss the times where I jam online with other players using my keyboard. As much as I miss it, there's no chance of it coming back again. :(

So, therefore - why not play my favorite songs on Taiko? XD

I mapped two songs today. Both of them are really fun to play!

Song of Pain (9 stars, 765 notes)

Ghost House (10 stars, 666 notes)

You can also download and view my other mapped O2Jam songs via the link on the right --->

An early Valentine custom song map~

Hi there, everyone! I made an early love themed song for Valentines! It's a little early to post it, but it's no big deal, right? XD

Those who play O2Jam might be familiar with this song from Beautiful Day...

This song is mapped in accordance to the original O2Jam map. Well, not to say that it has over 1000 notes, but the way I map this song follows the note distribution used in the original O2Jam HX mode.

Rated at 8 stars and having 818 notes, here's Milk Chocolate - provided at the download link below:

It's been a while already and this blog has achieved 6000 views! Thanks for viewing my blog and downloading Taikojiro! I wish to make this blog look attractive but I don't know how. :( So, I just stuck with the basics...

To commenmorate this, here's a custom map I made featuring a song from the Wonder Girls, a K-pop band~

Nobody (Normal Oni + Ura)

There's a friendly Oni version rated at 2 stars and a more challenging Ura Oni version rated 8 stars. Hope you have fun playing this addictive song!

And for the expert players, here's a custom map (not made by me) for you. Can you pass this song? XD
